Embarcadero Advisors Inc. is a commercial real estate firm that works exclusively with owners, users and investors of commercial real estate. With transactions encompassing over five million square feet of commercial space and land, Embarcadero Advisors Inc. specializes in Class A, B or B+ office space and clean industrial and flex buildings. Transactions include an owner/user purchase of a South of Market flex building, an owner/investor transaction at the former pets.com building in the South of Market, and the placement of the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business in the historic Folger Building at 101 Howard Street.

Michael Day and Bruce MacLean together share over forty years of commercial real estate experience, bringing to the table expertise in tenant representation services, project leasing services, investment brokerage, buy vs. lease analysis, valuation services, retail services, and general market research and analysis. _ Michael Day began his commercial real estate career in 1991 as a portfolio manager for the Trammell Crow Company. During his twelve-year tenure at the Trammell Crow Company he served in many capacities within the firm, including: project leasing, asset management, acquisitions, investment sales, construction management, and development. In 1997, he became the Partner responsible for the firm’s San Francisco interests and third party client activities. In 2002, Mr. Day formed Embarcadero Advisors Inc. Commercial Real Estate to serve as the fiduciary to multiple clients for their project leasing and asset management, property acquisitions, tenant representation, and property management needs. Embarcadero Advisors Inc. projects have totaled approximately $80MM of industrial, office and retail transactions since its formation. Michael also provides investment advisory services which include: sourcing, evaluating, underwriting, negotiating, and financing commitments on behalf of institutional owners, developers, and individual investors.

_With 20 years of real estate experience in the San Francisco Bay Area, Bruce is a seasoned executive with strong communication and operational skills. With expertise in project marketing, investment sales, finance, and accounting, Bruce has met and created value for his client’s real estate projects. Mr. MacLean’s main focus has now transitioned to the development side where he manages all aspects of commercial development projects including architects and contractors, rezoning, finance and budget, tenant improvements, debt and equity acquisition.
